Which Positions Can I Apply For?

Position Description

Female Counselors

 

Counselors work closely each week with the campers assigned to them. They are responsible for supervising campers and must be available to their campers at all times. Counselors will also help coordinate various activities.

Program Assistant

 

Program Assistants help coordinate various activities and camper games during the camp week under the leadership of the Program Director.

 

Head Lifeguard

 

The Head Lifeguards will oversee the beach lifeguarding, waterfront activities, and the assistant lifeguards.

 

Assistant Lifeguard

 

We need male and female assistant lifeguards. Assistant Lifeguards supervise swim time and waterfront activities. Previous certification/experience requested.  

Cooks

 

We need one Head Cook and an Assistant Cook. The Head Cook will supervise food preparation and organize the kitchen. The Assistant Cook will help the Head Cook in his or her duties.

 

Waitresses

 

Waitresses will help serve food and clean up after meals. They will also help out in the Camp Bookstore and Snack Shop.

 

Kitchen Assistants

 

Kitchen Assistants will help with food preparation and kitchen clean up.

 

Dining Hall Host/Hostess

 

The Dining Hall Host/Hostess will supervise the waitresses and maintain order during meals. She will ensure that the campers, sponsors, and guests have everything they need at mealtime.

 

General Maintenance

 

These staff members will help maintain the camp buildings and grounds.

 

Office Secretary

 

Secretaries will perform general administrative duties in the Main Office. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite are desired, but not required.

 

Communications Assistant

 

Our Assistant will be responsible for taking and organizing camp photographs, running the sound system, reproducing chapel tapes, and recording and duplicating our weekly camp video.

 

Health Assistant

 

The Health Assistants will help the camp nurse with medication distribution and render medical assistance as neccessary.  First Aid and medical experience is preferred.  Staff members may also assist with lifeguarding.

 

Housekeeping/Custodial

 

The Housekeep/Custodial Assistants will be responsible for cleaning the camp buildings and ensuring the stocking of cabin and cleaning supplies, and preparing guestrooms.

 

Snack Shop and Bookstore

 

Staff members will be responsible for assisting in the Snack Shop during retail hours. No prior experience is required.

 

Coffee Shop

Staff members will be responsible for assisting in the Ugly Mug ® Coffee Shop during retail hours. No prior retail or Coffee Shop experience is required.

 

Security Assistant

 

Staff members will assist in maintaining the security of the camp grounds and buildings. Security Assistants may also assist with grounds or maintenance duties.
