In 1959, a group of churches purchased a large piece of land located in Prudenville, MI and started what would become Camp CoBeAc. With a few cabins, a dining hall, and a chapel, CoBeAc was used of the Lord as a place for youth groups all over the state to come and use for their summer camp. Camp CoBeAc is owned and operated by the Independent Fundamental Baptist Fellowship of Michigan (IFBF) and has been serving thousands of individuals from churches across the Great Lakes region for over 50 years.
Today, Camp CoBeAc currently owns over 600 acres of Northern Michigan property with cabin capacity of around 500 people! Located on its property is an array of activities including zip lines, waterslides, indoor basketball courts, human foosball, a beautiful lake, a coffee shop, a putt-putt golf course, conference rooms and an air conditioned chapel! Every year, over 3000 people come to Camp CoBeAc for camps, retreats and conferences as hundreds of churches utilize Camp CoBeAc to help serve His Church through His Gospel for His Glory.
